We welcome our new Parish Priest Fr Leonard Macionczyk from our Salvatorian Order who has
commenced his Ministry here in Ocean Reef from the 29th of January this year.
Below is a summary of his journey from the time he arrived in Australia from Poland on 1st Dec in 1989.
Dec 1992 – 1995 First Parish as Parish Priest in Goomalling for 3 years
1996 – 2001 Parish Priest in Carnarvon
2001 – 2006 Chaplin for Lumen Christi College
2006 – 2008 Geraldton as Chaplin for Nana Nagle College
2009 – 2016 Greenmount Parish as Chaplin for La Salle College
2017 – 2018 Assistant Parish Priest at Balcatta Parish
2019 – 2023 Parish Priest at Greenmount Parish
He is also Spiritual Director of Salvatorian Collaborators and Lay Salvatorians, and has led many Salvatorian Pilgrimages.
On the departure of Fr Francis our previous Parish Priest to Nollamara Parish at the end of September last
year, Fr Mariusz our assistant priest has be fulfilling the position as Parish Administrator with enthusiasm,
dedication and hard work.
Last Sunday we welcomed Fr Leonard after 10am Mass with a special Morning Tea where he had the
opportunity to meet many of our Parishioners. Please see photos below!
