What a great turn-out again for our annual Parish Carols Night!
Blessed with excellent weather, a balmy night with no wind, set the scene for an enjoyable night of singing carol favourites for everyone to join in!
The Parish green quickly filled with many families bringing their picnic rugs and blankets and the air was filled with the sound of happy excited children and with smells of fried onions and Asian snacks!
The night started with two of our Parish Music choirs, (St Cecilia and Grace) singing some well known carols, followed by the enthusiastic and angelic voices of the St Simon Peter School choir led by Natalie and Michelle. We then had Christelle and Jasmine sing followed by the InSpiritUs Music group. The School choir were welcomed back presenting a great rendition of some well known carol entertaining us with their gusto singing and dance moves. The night ended with of course a special visit from St Nick.
A big Thank You to all involved. Cooking and preparing the food, those who gave a helping hand with serving, setting up and clearing away, and all who led the singing.
