The excitement of preparing for Holy week to know that we could celebrate it this year with parishioners in attendance was contagious.
From the start with the collecting of the Palms and the stalwart effort of our hard working ladies who spent a good number of hours cutting the fronds, and the team effort of decorating the church and cutting small branches for the children to wave at the procession was all worth it!
We saw a bigger then usual turnout at our Masses and the Sunday 10am commemoration procession had Simon riding the pony and children waving palms to welcome the Jesus into the church.
