On Saturday evening of the 16 October 2021, parishioners were treated to a fun filled, supercharged Dinner and Dance event at the Beaumaris Community Centre in Ocean Reef.
The night began with an epic performance by the Mustangs Band with a few dancers taking to the dance floor early to warm up their dancing moves, although the best dancing was yet to come.
After the blessing of the event and food by Father Francis, parishioners were entertained by emcees Stephen Harris and Daniel Yong while tucking themselves into a diverse spread of delectable foods that were generously provided by both parishioners and non-parishioners of the Parish.
Once everyone had their meal, the Mustangs brought forth lively music enticing almost everyone up for another round of dancing. It was quite spectacular and highly entertaining to witness families, couples, elders and even Father Francis dancing to the beat and enjoying the live music until midnight.
For those who were better as posers than dancers, the event also had a photo booth to add a flavour of fun for both the kids and the adults. With the aid of many props and comedy faces, we hope everyone liked their keepsake photo booth picture as a reminder of the event. The Social Committee would like to thank all who prepared the food, all the volunteers who helped set up and prepare for the event and assisted with cleaning the venue, as well as all who participated in making the event a huge success.
