Chosen to be God’s own. On this feast of the Holy Trinity we pause to reflect on the great mystery of God, ‘by whose word the heavens were made, by the breath of whose mouth all the stars’. What is perhaps most marvellous is the way this God of majesty and power has drawn so close to us. In Jesus, God assumed our human condition. In the Spirit, we have become God’s children able to address God by the intimate title, ‘Abba, Father!
