Holy Week 2019

Commencing with our Palm Sunday celebrations, we gathered before the 10am Mass behind the Grotto gardens and were lead in procession by Fr Francis, his miniters, the children waving plams and Anthony on the pony. Thursday 7.30pm Mass of the Last Supper saw a representation of our parish community having their feet washed by Fr. Francis.
The Easter Vigil Mass celebration began with the lighting of the Easter Candle from a fire lit outside the church and procession into the darken Church by Fr Francis with the lighted Easter Candle and as we held our own lighted candles which had filled the darken Church with ‘The Light of Christ’, the Exsultet was sung by Graham.
During this celebration we witnessed the Baptism of Luke Davey and welcomed into our faith community Denise O'Brien, who were also Confirmed and received their First Holy Communion.
