Finance Committee

The committee is responsible for overseeing parish finances to ensure that adequate funds are available to meet the needs of the parish. This is carried out through the development of an annual budget of Income and Expenditure and the annual publication of accounts at the Parish Annual General Meeting. This committee monitors the planned giving programme and parish fund raising in general.

Piety Stall

The Piety stall is open during Parish Office hours. A good range of religious items including prayer cards, rosary beads, Baptism candles and memorabilia, gifts, especially for Christmas, Easter, First Holy Communion and Confirmation are available.

Our hardworking Maintenance Committee has teams of volunteers who look after church Maintenance and gardens. Several busy bees are held every year in conjunction. Helpers are always needed.

Parish Mission Statement

We, at St Simon Peter Parish, are a Catholic family
called through Baptism
to know, love and serve God and neighbour.

We strive to witness the Kingdom of God
through proclaiming the Good News of Jesus,
celebrating the Sacraments, and serving the wider community,
especially the disconnected from our Parish.
